This paper describes the ultrastructure of spermiogenesis and the mature spermatozoon of two Dipylidiidae cestodes, Joyeuxiella echinorhynchoides and J. pasqualei. In both species, spermiogenesis follows the type III described by Bâ and Marchand for the cyclophyllideans.
